2019 Community Read:

Celebrating Racial Diversity

The public libraries of Atkinson, Danville, Plaistow, and Sandown, along with the Timberlane Regional High School have launched the 2019 Community Read Project.  We are excited to base our project on the book, Waking Up White by Debby Irving and holding book discussions in each of our libraries.

Library of Things

We have more than just cake pans you can borrow from the library!  With KitKeeper, you can reserve a mobile hotspot, cake pan, puzzle, knitting loom, or a wattage meter in advance and have it when you need it.  We will be adding more items in 2019, so keep checking back to see what's new!

New Streaming Video on Demand Service

We are pleased to offer a new streaming video option through RBdigital.  This services includes Acorn TV, The Great Courses, Indie Flix, Pongolo, Qello and Method Test Prep (ACT/SAT).  You will sign up with your library card and get a 7-day pass for unlimited viewing. Once the 7-day pass is over, you can sign-up again.

This is perfect if you are a binge watcher, need a crash course in test prep for the SATs, or just have some time to learn something new!

Next Friends of the Library meeting is Mon. March 25 at 6:30pm.  New Friends are always welcome!

Mark your calendars for April 11 at 6:30pm!  You won't want to miss the opportunity to see community members debut their acting skills with an evening at Zorvino Vineyards.  There will be light bites, dessert and a cash bar.  Come try and solve the mystery, as you watch the play, A Menacing Night at the Modern Museum.  Tickets are $50 per person.  Proceeds goes to help the Friends support the library by sponsoring programs and purchasing museum passes.  Tickets will go on sale soon!
If you are a community member who would like to join the cast, there is a meeting on Tue. Feb 19 at 7pm.  Come and learn more about the play and meet our local director!
